Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, a Cuban/American TV arbitrator who works for Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana is a child born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years of age, moved to Miami along with her parents. The birthplace of Ana Maria Polo was Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish language program nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. It was also in 2015 ranked as the most popular Spanish-language programming at 4pm across important demos. Polo graduated from Florida International University with a political science degree. Her birthplace was in Havana on the 11th of April 1959. Then, she obtained the PhD in law from The University of Miami. For twenty years, she practiced law in Miami. Following her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo first appeared on television in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She took part in courts shows which tapped into her experience. Literature Accolades and Literary works In the year 1958, she published her book Los Hijos Muertos. It was awarded the Critic's Award for Literature as well the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo is a breast cancer survivor who frequently raises money for this causes and gives speeches at parties. Polo has been an activist in support of LGBT concerns. She's been a Florida Bar-member since 1987 and graduated in law from University of Miami School of Law.
