Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with dreams of great heights. Her best roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the thriller Precious. At the age of a girl she was raised in an Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mom was obsessed with films, and she instilled a love of films into her daughter. Paula took part in school co-curricular events, and she particularly enjoyed acting. She was a member of her class and took part in the school's plays. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many chances to perform in high school and she picked acting as a career. Through a program for summer at the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She won a three-month assignment making documentaries for PBS. After completing the assignment, she began becoming a production assistant for TV documentaries. The next thing she did was start producing documentaries. While she enjoyed her job, she still wanted to become an actor. She started her acting career through a tiny character in the film romantic comedy Hitch, alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has been in many films and TV shows.
