Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British, as is her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. As a young child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. Anna became a Jew at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. The couple was married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows during the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's same-sex romance with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's top TV Couples in the history of television and was named top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna gained a huge number of followers on social networks because of its popularity.
