Maria Brink

 Maria Brink (born December 18 1977) is an American musician and singer, best known as the frontwoman of the band In This Moment. The group has gone on to release seven studio albums and receive four nominations, two from Alternative Press Music Awards, one from the Grammy Awards, and one from the Loudwire Music Awards.Brink was awarded "Rock Goddess of the Year" in the third (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards, "Hottest Chick in Metal" in 2010and was named one of the eleven females in heavy metal who count by Yell! Revolver Magazine recognized Brink as one of the top 25 Hot Chicks In Hard Rock & Metal in 2012 and Pulse in Albany, New York. In 2002, when she was 25 years old, she relocated to Los Angeles to find a band to work with Before making a decision to join a band, she was employed in shops and performed in coffee shops and bars. In an audition, she got to know Chris Howorth in 2004. Howorth was initially hesitant to employ Brink as a singer due to the fact that she was female. After a few days, Howorth apologized and then hired Brink as the lead singer. They formed Dying Star with Jeff Fabb as their drummer. Later, Blake Bunzel and Josh Newell joined the band as guitarists. Soon, the band changed their names to In This Moment
